And im just here trying so hard, wasting all of my energy

End of the day many lessons learned, guess im my own worst enemy

Lessons of life sometimes cost you a little more then money, its not free

Im just sitting here wondering what went wrong and wondering how it should be

Im stuck with regret, with neglect, not like I pictured: bliss happiness, glee

But now I laugh, how funny, hahaha, how ironic

This feelings, usual to anyone, yet they’re chronic

Yet when it comes to emotions im still hooked on phonics

But what keeps me happy, my sounds, this shit is super sonic

Now I hear you’re asking for emancipation

I think you need a little consultation

Well I don’t know but this is my dissertation

No ones perfect, but we’re still one of gods creation

Why we laughing, this shit isn’t funny

I see bees working hard, to make their honey

And we just come, take, no “excuse me”

Take it all with no “im sorry”

Then I ask myself which of the two is the real animal

That what we do to others our own kind, that’s being a criminal

We take instead of giving, what happened to the brotherhood, it seamed logical

The world is as cold as the artic, not like we hoped, warm like the tropic

One day your on the top, feel invincible

The next your in the corner trying to turn invisible

That happened to my, matter a fact 5 weeks ago

We’re not the problem, the problem is the people

You see your dream grow in size, times three, that’s triple

And then you see it fade slowly away, what was an ocean is now a trickle
